High Voltage Operational Safety Courses Course OP40: High Voltage Operational Pre-Authorisation Duration: 5 days Venue: Sterling Power Training, Mucklow Hill, Halesowen, West Midlands Membership: The course is primarily designed for personnel with a basic knowledge of electricity, but may have limited experience of operating and working on high and low voltage electrical systems. Objective: This five day course will introduce delegates to the preferred principles of electrical safety associated with the operation and control of high and low voltage electricity systems. It is recommended that the course is supplemented by further on-site training and supervised experience. Further Information: This course has a high degree of practical involvement. Course delegates will be continually assessed during the course to ensure that they learnt and understood key learning points. All delegates will take an end of course assessment questionnaire. It is the employer’s responsibility to determine whether or not an individual has satisfied Regulation 16 of the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. If required, Sterling Power Group are able to assist organisations with the authorisation assessment process and are able act as an ‘Authorising Agent’. Course programme: Day 1
